Common Questions

Cancellation Policy:
Due to the nature of this practice, there is a 24 hour cancellation requirement. Late cancellations are assessed 75% of the scheduled appointment time and missed appointments are assessed the full cost of the time scheduled. Confirmation of the cancellation must be made no later than 24 business hours before the appointment. For example, to cancel an appointment scheduled for Monday at 9am, a call must be received and confirmed by 9am Friday.

Services are charged at an hourly rate. All nutritional consultations, acupuncture treatments, and chiropractic treatments are included in the hourly rate. Homeopathic case analysis, nutritional supplements, Chinese herbs and homeopathic remedies are extra. The initial intake for a NEW client is 1 hour and 15 minutes.  A history intake is essential for any holistic treatment to be performed.  Follow up appointments are charged by time, starting at 30 minutes and increasing in 15 minute intervals thereafter. Additional pets are scheduled separately and receive 1 hour at the regular hourly rate for their initial appointment. Following the initial intake, chiropractic adjustments may be scheduled as a single service. 

Phone Consultations (available to existing clients only)

Phone consultations are available to existing clients, following the initial visit. Time is assessed in 5 minute increments, rounding up to the next unit of time. For example, 8 minutes is rounded to 10 minutes for the purpose of determining charges. If you are an existing client and have a quick question, there will be no charge. Any call over 5 minutes will be assessed a fee.

Child Care and Cell Phone Policy

As we strive to bring you and your pet a peaceful respite, please silence your cell phones and keep voices down when entering the office.  As we do not have the facilities to keep children, we respectfully request you arrange childcare for your children.  We want everyone’s pet to get the most out of each and every session!

After Hours Policy

For existing clients, this site has a password-protected Trouble-Shooting Guide. It is intended to assist existing clients in MINOR issues after normal business hours. If you feel that your pet is in immediate danger, contact your regular veterinarian or an emergency veterinary clinic as soon as possible.
